Yellowstone
An early season visit to Yellowstone is great! There isn't nearly the crowds as the Summer, and it seems like the animals are much more active.

My instacanv.as gallery is now open! Thanks to all who requested it!
Pictures, pictures, and more pictures. Boots, barbed wire, roads, rails and more...
Cloudless skies and cold temperatures were how the day started when I headed North to check out the "Hi-Line". Also known as US Highway 2, the road travels through some of the most beautiful land in the state, especially in its western half, and has more of its mileage within Montana than in any other state. As it moves on to the Great Plains, the road goes through several small towns and basically parallels the Great Northern Railway. There was lots to see, from vintage signs, old abandoned buildings, cars, and of course lots of wide open spaces.
A few shots through my new lens. It's actually made for my camera. No adapters…. It's a 45mm 1.8 prime lens. So far I'm liking it.
I've been meaning to post these for a while. We had a great Christmas!
